Over 1,500 coins catalogued and well illustrated. A useful reference to an otherwise rather inaccesible collection, covering the period from 280 B.C. to 31 B.C. Whilst most of the collection correspond to Crawford's types, there are many interesting exceptions. All the data identifying particular coins has been included with respect to each issue: identification of mint and value, description, metal, weight in grams, diameter in millimetres and axis. Inventory numbers and references to the more important collections have also been given as well as references to Crawford's study and earlier works.
